This guide empowers you to integrate the Hulul platform into your Zid store, enabling lightning-fast support and simplified store management.
Prerequisites
Before proceeding, ensure you have:
- An active store on Zid Marketplace
- Be logged in to your Zid store. This is crucial for a smooth integration experience and installing the Zid app.

Understanding User Roles and Permissions
- Admin, App Manager, and Owner roles can install the app.
- Other user roles have non-clickable access to install or uninstall.
Creating a Hulul Account (if needed)
If you're a new user to Hulul, you'll need to create an account. Sign up here.
Setting Up the Zid App
Once you've created an account on Hulul:
- Open the Hulul platform dashboard.
- Navigate to the Marketplace section within Hulul.
- Find the "Zid" app and click on it to view details.
- Click "Get Started" to initiate the Zid app setup. You will be redirected to a secure Zid authorization page to grant access.
- Follow the prompts to authorize the app. Once completed, you will be redirected back to the Zid Settings tab.
Important Note:
In some cases, the process might involve two clicks of the "Get Started" button.
- Initial Click: If you're not already logged in to your Zid store, the first click on "Get Started" will redirect you to the Zid login page. Enter your credentials and click "Sign In" to proceed.
- Authorization: Follow prompts to grant Hulul access to your Zid store.
- Confirmation Click: After granting access on the Zid authorization page, you might be prompted to click "Get Started" again within the Hulul platform. This is a final confirmation step to complete the connection.
Managing App Settings
Access the Zid app page within your Hulul Marketplace dashboard. Here, you can:
- View your store name.
- Turn the chat widget on or off.
- Access more chat widget settings.
Disabling/Enabling the Chat Widget
Use the toggle button to control the visibility of the chat widget on your store.
- Turning Off the Button: If you wish to hide the chat widget, simply toggle the button to the "Off" position. A popup warning message will appear to confirm your action.
- Turning On the Button: To show the chat widget again, toggle the button to the "On" position.
Uninstalling the Zid App
Click "Disconnect" to uninstall Hulul from your Zid store.
Note: When uninstalling the Zid app, please make sure to uninstall Zid from the Hulul marketplace and Hulul app from the Zid marketplace for complete removal.
