Install the FawryPay application for Hulul

FawryPay integration transforms how you pay for goods and services within our chatbot platform, making payments effortless directly within the chatbot interface.

Accessing FawryPay Dashboard

Before you start, you’ll need to retrieve your FawryPay credentials:

Visit Fawry Dashboard to obtain your Merchant Code and Security Key. You can do this by going to your Fawry "Account Settings" section. 

  • The merchant code provided by the FawryPay team during the account setup.
  • If you haven't signed up for FawryPay yet, please take a moment to create an account.

If you're unable to locate your Merchant Code, please contact the FawryPay support team for assistance.

 

Install FawryPay App

Go to the Hulul Marketplace and click on the FawryPay card to initiate the installation process.

Step1: Credentials

Now, In the app info tab, click the "Get Started" button.

By default, you'll be in "Test Mode", a secure environment for testing your integration without affecting live data.

Enter the Test Credentials of your FawryPay app. 

  • Merchant Code: Enter your Merchant Code provided by FawryPay team for testing purposes.

  • Security Key: Input the security key provided by FawryPay team for testing purposes.

Click "Next" to validate your credentials.

Note: Test Credentials only work in the staging environment, and not in the live environment. Similarly, you cannot use live credentials while your site is in the staging environment.

If you enter incorrect credentials, you will not be able to proceed to the next step.

Step2 :Processing

After your credentials are verified successfully, FawryPay clones a folder to enhance your bot capabilities.

This folder will contain pre-built elements like Actions, Custom User Attributes, Messages, and connected flows specifically designed to work with Fawry payments.

Important Note: For a smooth installation, ensure all folders and flows within your bot have unique names and distinct attributes. The bot won't clone the folder if a matching name or identical attributes already exist in your bot.

A warning will appear if you have a folder, attribute, or flow with the same name.

 

Step3: Finish

Once the cloning process is successful, You'll see a confirmation message indicating a successful connection. Click "Done", and you'll be redirected to the app settings tab.

Once connected, your Fawry account will be installed in Hulul under My Apps.

You'll find the Fawry folder in the Flow Builder tab, where you can add items for use in your bots.

Switching to Live Mode

If you want to access your Fawry Live account, click on "Switching to Live Mode".

Enter your live Fawry credentials and click "Update".

Creating Orders

The following steps will demonstrate how you can create an order in the Inbox tab.

Note: Only agents with an 'Inbox Seat' are authorized to engage in conversations and create orders.

To create an order for a customer while you chat, click on the "Create Order" icon.

Customise the shipping cost, Add Order details and price then send it to the customer

Select the preferred language for the message to be sent to the customer.

Click the “Create Order” button, and the order will be sent in the chat.

Note:

  • Upon successful completion of payment, you will receive a "Payment for order successfully completed" message.
  • If the payment for the order is unsuccessful, you will receive a "Payment for order was unsuccessful" message.

Viewing Transaction History

Access a detailed history of past Fawry payments within Hulul, including transaction dates, amounts, recipients, and more. Filter payments, export data, and view transactions in full width.

Refund Money

Refund the money for canceled transactions or reimbursements, choosing between full or partial refunds.

Uninstalling the Fawry App

To uninstall the FawryPay app, navigate to the app settings in your Hulul account and select the disconnect option.

A pop-up will ask you for double confirmation. Once pressed it cannot be undone

Note: Once you uninstall the FawryPay app, the Cloning folder associated with it will be deleted
