Getting Started with AI Knowledge Assistant
If the feature is already enabled for your account, you’re ready!
✅ Access the Assistant
- Head to the left sidebar, click on AI Hub, and then choose AI Knowledge Assistant.
- Press on "New Chat".
The "AI Knowledge Assistant" button is clickable once documents or web pages are added, and appears dimmed with a tooltip if no content is available.
Smart Sessions: Organize Your Conversations
🔹 First-Time Users:
You’ll start your first chat by selecting one or more documents. This helps you understand what the Assistant can do and how to use it effectively.
🔄 Returning Users:
You’ll land on the chat session screen, where all your previous sessions are listed. Each session includes:
- Name (e.g., Chat 1, Chat 2)
- Last interaction time
- Last message preview
- Linked document summary (compact view with ellipsis or “more” option for long names)
🆕 Start a New Session
Click on “New Chat” at any time to begin a new conversation.
You’ll be prompted to select the files or webpages you'd like the AI to reference. You can pick:
- Individual documents/webpages
- Or click “All Resources” to select everything you have already uploaded.
Each session is automatically given a unique name (e.g., Chat 3), but you can rename it anytime. You can also delete sessions you no longer need.
💬 Chat with Your Knowledge
Once inside a session, you can start chatting with your AI Assistant. It responds intelligently using only the documents you've selected.
Chat Features:
- Real-time Q&A with loader animation while the bot thinks
- Time-stamped messages for easy tracking
- Source links for every answer (clickable!)
- Copy the button to reuse the AI’s response anywhere.
- Rate the responses User can rate the answers given by the assistant, so we can improve them more and more.
🛠️ Manage Your Sessions
You’re in full control of your conversations:
- Rename sessions for easy organization
- Delete old sessions with a confirmation prompt
Deleting a session removes all associated messages permanently.

Displays the total token allowance available for your subscription (e.g., 10,000 tokens). -
Tokens Left
Shows the remaining number of tokens, helping teams manage consumption effectively.

Indicates the total number of chat sessions that took place (e.g., 50,200 sessions). -
Consumed Tokens
Displays the number of tokens used within the selected time period (e.g., 700 tokens). -
Month Filter Dropdown
Let users filter the session and token usage data by a specific month for more granular insights.

Allows users to quickly find specific agents by entering a name. -

Enables exporting the displayed performance data for offline analysis, reporting, or sharing. -

Let users filter agent performance data by a specific month to focus on relevant time frames.

Q1: How do I create a new chat session?
Click “New Chat” and choose the documents or pages you'd like the Assistant to reference.
Q2: Can I rename or delete my chat sessions?
Yes. Simply click the rename icon or trash icon on any session card to update or remove it.
Q3: How do I switch between different chat sessions?
Use the session list on the left to jump between conversations instantly.
