The List Messages allows you to create a list of selectable rows displayed as buttons.
Benefits of Using List Messages
- Offer users multiple choices (up to 10 options).
- Provide descriptions for each option to add context.
Can users reopen a previous List Message?
Yes, users can reopen a previous List Message to resend an option or choose a different one.
Building a List Message
Navigate to Your Flow: In the flow builder, select "WA List" from the message type options.
Header (Optional)
You can add a header to the body to customize the look of your message as per your needs, which can display up to 60 characters.
Body
Make sure to add text to guide your users through the options. Here you can use attributes.
The text can display up to 1024 characters.
Footer (Optional)
You can add additional information at the bottom of the list with up to 60 characters.
List Button/Call to Action (CTA)
Add the text that will appear on the List button to open the menu.
Maximum of 20 characters for title.
- Sections: organize rows within sections:
- Name the section displayed on the list with a maximum of 24 characters for the title.
- To add a section, click on the "+" button.
Note: No matter how many sections you use, the total number of clickable options (rows) should be 10 or less.
- Rows: Add up to 10 rows:
- Row Title: Name the row displayed on the button with a maximum of 24 characters for the title.
- Row Description: Description of the row (up to 72 characters).
- Select Flow: Select the flow that triggers when a user clicks an option.
Note: This feature is exclusively available for WhatsApp and is not supported on Web, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram bots.
